We are the Garioch Roadrunners; welcome to our homepage.

We are a road and cross-country running club based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, catering for male and female runners of all ages and standards - and occasionally their dogs. 

We are based at the Garioch Sports Centre in Inverurie in the Winter and out and about in the Garioch itself in the Summer. 

We have two club runs per week, at 6.35pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year, rain (or snow) or shine.  Our members also use the club Yahoo! Group to organise runs from the Bennachie Centre (Esson’s Car Park) and other places slightly further afield on Saturday mornings.

While it’s true most of our members have had some running experience before joining, we aren’t all three-hour marathoners. 

Of course we are very proud of our members who are three-hour marathoners (and are frankly quite jealous!) but most of us run because we love the sport, we love the outdoors and we enjoy the buzz of the odd race or two. We also love running with other people who love running – something that is very important on cold, dark, rainy winter runs!
